Norbert Von Cramon retires after a long and loyal service to Dressage Ireland.

After decades of service to Dressage Ireland, Norbert Von Cramon has decided to step aside from his role as Administrator and book keeper to the organisation.

Norbert has been an integral part of the success and growth of Dressage Ireland. Throughout his tenure he has held a number of roles including Treasurer, Company Secretary, Administrator , Head of Finance, Dressage Ireland’s representative on the Dressage High Performance Committee, Advisor to the Board on National and International rules and web and data controller for Dressage Ireland .

Apart from these numerous roles, year on year Norbert led a team who built the Dressage Arena’s at the Winter Finals and National Championships, and as soon as that task was completed he then headed up a scoring team. In an effort to allow Dressage Ireland move with the times he designed and developed a live scoring system for the championships whilst also keeping  the website updated of the results.

Norbert is a multitalented man with a passion for the advancement of Dressage in Ireland , to add to the long list of his talents and skills he is also a List 2 FEI Dressage Steward fluent in German and English.

Dressage Ireland is indebted to Norbert for a life time of service to our sport, his knowledge , intellect and passion for Dressage is unrivaled. He will be sorely missed, both his and Charlene’s advise and support during the handover phase has been invaluable and we wish them both the very best in health and happiness into the future. 

Due to the restrictions around the Covid pandemic, the planned presentation to Norbert and Charlene at the National Championships wasn’t possible, however The Board of Dressage Ireland were keen not to let the occasion pass and presented Charlene with a bouquet of Flowers and Norbert a Voucher for The Kilmore Hotel on behalf of the Board and members of Dressage Ireland.
